Delete your account

How to have your Croma MNL Community account and its data removed.

Last updated: 29 July 2026

⚠️ Fill in before relying on this: the contact email below is a placeholder. Replace <<privacy@cromamnl.com>> with a real, monitored address and delete this box. Google checks that the stated route actually works.

How to request deletion

The app is Croma MNL Community, published by Croma MNL. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, and you do not need to give a reason.

Option 1 — from inside the app

  1. Open the Croma MNL Community app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile → Ask us.
  3. Send a message with the subject “Delete my account”.

We reply in the app, so you can see the request and our response.

Option 2 — by email

  1. Email <<privacy@cromamnl.com>> from the address on your account.
  2. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
  3. Include the name or email you registered with, so we can find you.

If you cannot email from your registered address, we may ask one question to confirm it is your account — for example a recent purchase — before we delete anything. This protects you from someone else deleting your account.

We act on requests within 7 working days, and confirm once it is done.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

DeletedWhat it covers
Your profileName, email address, phone number, photo, bio, city and interests
Your loyalty recordPoints balance, tier, and any unused reward vouchers
Your community activityPosts, comments, likes, direct messages, connections and club memberships
Your requestsAdvance orders, table reservations, event RSVPs and inquiries
Your sign-inPassword, Google sign-in link and all active sessions
NotificationsNotification history and push-notification tokens

What we keep, and for how long

Two things survive account deletion, and only for reasons we are legally required to honour:

KeptWhyHow long
Sales receipts and invoices for purchases you made in the café Philippine tax law requires a business to retain its accounting records. These are records of the shop's sales, not of your app account, and they are detached from your profile — once your account is deleted they can no longer be linked back to it. As required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
Store-credit records, if you hold a balance Store credit is money you paid us. We keep the record while a balance exists so it can be refunded or spent, and afterwards as part of our financial records. While a balance exists, then as above

If you hold store credit, tell us what you want done with it — spend it before you ask us to delete, or ask for it back. We will not quietly keep it.

Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis, so a copy of deleted data may persist in a backup for up to 30 days before it is gone entirely. It is not used for anything during that time.

Deleting only some of your data

You do not have to delete your whole account. Using either route above you can ask us to remove just part of it — for example your posts and comments, your direct messages, or your profile photo — and keep the account and your points. Say which parts in your message.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) you also have the right to access, correct, and object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to the National Privacy Commission. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
